Asian Grocery – Oak Tree Road One of the best spots for fresh halal and custom-cut meat — chicken and goat are consistently top quality. Great selection of Bengali grocery items too, hard to find elsewhere. Vegetable prices are also more reasonable here compared to Patel Brothers, which makes it a solid regular stop for groceries.

This store's fish and meat cutting section is extremely disorganized. The store closes at 9 PM, and I arrived around 7:30 PM specifically to buy Bangladeshi fish. When I got to the cutting section, there were only four people ahead of me, so I picked my fish and joined the line. However, I ended up waiting for over an hour. During that time, I noticed that customers ahead of me were repeatedly going back to the freezer to bring more fish and meat, which significantly delayed the line. There seemed to be no system in place to manage this. When it was finally my turn, the associate told me they were closing and refused to cut my fish. What was especially frustrating was that, while I was being told this, the customer right before me went back to the freezer yet again and brought more chicken to be cut. This felt very unfair. I explained that I had been waiting in line for over an hour and asked if they could at least process one fish. I also spoke with another associate at the checkout, who called the store owner, but the decision remained the same. I was told that regular customers are aware that the cutting section closes at 9 PM and that I should have known as well. I really w

Sorry to say this, but please be careful. The store is selling expired products and does not respond to calls on the phone number listed online. This is very disappointing and unprofessional.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but my visit here was unacceptable. Multiple items on open shelves were expired, and I discovered ice cream I purchased that had an expiration date of 02/11/2025. In the rice section beside the fridges I found bags with visible insects. Products were not rotated properly and the store overall felt unhygienic. Specific issues I observed: • Expired items left on open shelves and in refrigerated/freezer cases. • Ice cream sold past the printed expiration date (02/11/2025). • Rice/grains near the fridge area with insect contamination. • Poor inventory rotation and no apparent quality control. This is a health concern, not just an inconvenience. I recommend shoppers avoid buying perishable or bulk food here until management fixes these issues. I’m also filing a complaint with the local health department
